You might want to get a pci or pcie card for your firewire. Another thing is if you are using your motherboard firewire make sure the chipset is texas instrument TI. Try reinstalling the driver first start the instalation without firestudio hooked up and then when it asks you to restart the computer restart and plug in the firewire and let win install its own driver for it as well. Second make sure the driver for firestudio is also 32 bit, iam not on win7 but i have firestudio tube in xp 32 bit working just fine. Please help! So frustrating! I hate being ignorant of this stuff. Did you see my screenshots? If I have ASIO selected showing the Presonus, is that right? And how come none of the inputs show up under input selection? Just shows 'Right/Left' and 'ReaRoute X' with X being a number.

I just know it has to be something with my audio setup. (Occasionally the furthest most right 'system' light flashes red real quick, but its blue most of the time) With the driver installed, when the Firestudio powers up and once all the lights are done flashing in its bootup, all the lights are blue as normal. When I have the Firestudio connected without the drivers installed and power it on, it just has red lights flashing all across the front. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the device drivers but I really dont think that's it. Oh, and I'm using Reaper 32bit for now since I'm using Windows 7 32bit. Its a PCI-E card and from a firewire standpoint it seems to work fine. I forgot to mention, the firewire card I'm using is not on-board I bought one at BestBuy the other day. Please help!!! I only have a few days left to get this working or I have to take it back to Guitar Center One more thing, under the hardware setups (for lack of better words) when I select the ASIO system/drivers for the Firestudio then my system crashes and Reaper freezes up half the time, especially if I have the output source as the Firestudio. When I select the input source it only gives me the default 'left/right' options (which dont work) and the 'ReaRoute X' which I have no idea what those are but they dont work either. Reaper looks like it recognizes it, and its available for selection in the Options/Preferences/Audio/Device setups page (see attachments) but no matter how I mess with it, it will not record audio and I cannot select the individual channels to record with. I brought it home, hooked it up, installed the drivers for Windows 7 32bit, and now I cannot get it to work. I just bought a Presonus Firestudio over the weekend. So please please excuse my ignorance here. I am so sorry for this total NOOB post, but I'm really a guitarist and am just getting into home recording.
